Synopsis

Les Hoover ont beau de ne pas incarner un modèle de famille équilibrée, quand Olive, leur fille de sept ans, décroche par chance une invitation à concourir pour le titre très sélectif de Little Miss Sunshine en Californie, toute la famille met le cap vers l’Ouest à bord de leur van Volkswagen délabré et entame un voyage tragi-comique de trois jours …
